I get the impression that Bates is more hippie, crunchie than Bowdoin, Middlebury, Colgate or Hamilton. Bucknell is very broad and personalized, good for Med-school. If you really want to be a nurse, you should try to get into a direct admit program. Bucknell does have excellent pre-health preparation but that is mostly geared toward med school, podiatry school, dental etc.The majority of Bucknell University students live on campus.
